What a project assessment involves
This is a low cost investigation where we recommend how best to carry out the project so you can decide whether/how you would like to continue.
Project Assessment Standard $800*
(For New Builds or Additions / Alterations)
We meet with you and/or visit the site and listen to what you would like to achieve, identifying what specific problems you are facing.
We obtain existing plans of the property and certificate of title.
We identify and analyse any particular difficulties with the site or building that would need to be addressed in a project. This includes the council district plan regulations and Building Act requirements.
We advise whether an engineer will be required and put together an estimate for their work so you have an understanding of the complete design costs.
We indicate a timeframe for full design documentation.
We bundle this up in an easy-to-read report that arms you with information you can use straightaway or sit on till the time is right.
